Kegley, Armilda C. (20 Apr 1866 - 15 Augl 1917)
Armilda Caroline Shrene was born April 20, 1866 at Greenwood, Vernon County, Wis. She was married to Albert H. Kegley July 13, 1884 and died Aug. 15, 1917 in the town of Washburn, Clark County, Wis.
She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and six children: Amos, Vern, Ray, Laura, Iva and Edith; two brothers, Joe of Richland Center and John of Viroqua; one sister, Mary E. Fries of Medford, Oregon; a half-brother Charley of Los Angeles; a half-sister, Amy Walsh of Cuba, Wis.
Mrs. Kegley became a member of the Christian Church at Debello, Vernon Co. Wis. Dec. 1914.
The funeral service was held at the home Thursday morning, Rev. S.B. Pinney officiating. The burial was on Friday at Hillsboro, Wis., the old home.
Mrs. Kegley’s noble character and unselfish devotion won her many friends.
